Las Vegas elopements are nothing new. Although they are on the rise in popularity, couples have begun focusing more on their individual happiness and experiences rather than planning and paying for a big wedding. Here’s a bit about having a Las Vegas elopement and why it may be the perfect choice for you!

Everything You Need To Know For A Las Vegas Elopement!

What is an Elopement?

An elopement is an intimate wedding ceremony that focuses on the two most important people getting married! Eloping is an excellent option for those who want to enjoy each other’s company or only want to include a small handful of guests at their ceremony.

When Should I Have a Las Vegas Elopement?

Any time is a great time to have an elopement in Las Vegas! However, depending on the season, you should plan accordingly. If you are hoping for an outdoor elopement, the best months for weather would be to elope in April, May, September, and October. But November through March create good options, too, although it will be cooler! Summer months are usually more crowded as well as being hot. But not out of the question if you want an outdoor summer elopement. Indoor elopements in one of the iconic Las Vegas chapels or other venues are doable no matter the time of year and are sure to be great!

How Do I Obtain a Marriage License?

Obtaining a marriage license is relatively fast and easy in Las Vegas! You can easily apply online. You must bring your valid government-issued photo IDs and social security numbers and pay the fee. After applying and paying the fee, you and your fiance will need to go in person to the Clark County Marriage License Bureau to get your marriage license. This should take about 15 minutes, depending on how many other couples are waiting for theirs!

Gorgeous Locations for a Las Vegas Elopement

Las Vegas has various gorgeous and unique elopement locations, from gardens to little white chapels, to fit everyone’s style and taste. A popular outdoor site is Red Rock Canyon Overlook, which lies in Nevada’s Mojave Desert and is best known for its red and tan sandstone cliffs. The stunning oasis of canyon views and natural beauty set the tone for a beautiful spot for you to exchange your elopement vows.

Las Vegas has several beautiful dry lake beds which offer an open canvas to create whatever ceremony style you can dream of!

Another outdoor option is Mount Charleston which offers an unmatchable overlook view of natural beauty. Mount Charleston also has hiking trails and ski slopes, so you can go on an adventure after or before your elopement!

Las Vegas Boulevard is an attractive option near the Strip but not in the heart of the area. It offers an iconic backdrop of neon signs and majestic fountains, perfect for true Las Vegas fans that want the city backdrop without the business!

A Little White Chapel is the perfect famous spot for an iconic indoor elopement venue. Stars such as Elvis, Judy Garland, and Frank Sinatra were married in this chapel. The chapel is a beautiful and cute spot, with a few different packages to choose from. Including being married by Elvis! Las Vegas has a variety of great options, no matter what you’re looking for!
